About the blurb: I don't think the soldier talk is really necessary, seeing as it was only an inside joke to conceal what we were doing. Taken out of context it would just be odd. I guess it could just be an honest paragraph about the nature of the project. 28 artists crafting images to a well-known Christmas song, submitting them in secret with mysterious thumbnails to provide holiday fun for all.
“Click image to go back" Unless Nae is really fast here, there *is* such a text there already. It's actually "Click to close", but that's close enough.

Really, the only thing about the credits page is that the two columns are of unequal lengths. If you were to move some of the artist's names to the right column, where the...uhm, plant decoration thingy is and then move the title text to the middle, then I'd be totally okay with the page.
I wouldn't suggest a night-themed background. Nothing in your colouring suggests that the image is placed in a low-light environment - quite the oposite, the bright colours suggest a sunny day instead.
